Patsy Collins Adventure in Leadership (PCAL)
PCAL challenges middle school girls to actively participate in leadership development within a supportive positive environment. Based on three guiding principles Leadership, Service and Wellness, we empower girls with the self confidence to lead, the generosity of spirit to give back to their communities, and the awareness to live a healthy and balanced life. Participants will learn to design service projects, reflect on their personal growth, and gain knowledge through engaging workshops and experiential opportunities. Passages Northwest
Nine girls and three instructors travel to beautiful and natural places for five to twelve days to build their own community. Along the way, girls rock climb, backpack, and explore their creativity while developing new friendships and lifelong memories. Girls return from these courses with the confidence to express themselves, pursue their dreams, and create positive change in their communities. Our programs are designed to meet every girl where she is, whether she has experience in the outdoors or is spending her first night in a tent.
